This page explains how to permanently delete your AstroBlog account and all personal data linked to it. You do not need to have made a purchase or to be signed in to request deletion — the email method below is open to everyone.
1. Deleting from Inside the App (instant)
This is the fastest method. You can delete your account directly from inside the AstroBlog app:
- Tap the profile icon.
- On your profile page, find the “Settings and Security” section.
- Tap “Delete My Account” under that section and confirm.
Once you confirm, your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and permanently; there is no waiting period.
This action cannot be undone. Your deleted birth chart, readings and chat history cannot be recovered. Any remaining tokens are not refunded.
2. Requesting Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app (you lost your device, uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in), you can send your deletion request by email.
- Send an email to destekastroblog@gmail.com.
- Put “Account Deletion Request” in the subject line.
- State the email address registered to your account in the message.
We process the request once we have verified that the account is yours. Writing from the email address registered to your account is sufficient verification.
Requests received by email are completed within 30 days at the latest, and you are informed once the deletion is done.
3. Data That Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account details: name, username, email address, stored password record
- Your birth date, birth time and birth place
- Your current location and Solar Return target location
- All your astrology chats and chat responses
- All your readings and premium reading records
- Your relationship compatibility (synastry) records
- Your horary (question) records
- Your purchase and subscription records
- Your coupon usage history and token transaction records
- Your device identifier stored for notifications (FCM token)
4. Data That Is Not Deleted
The following fall outside the scope of account deletion:
- Apple and Google purchase records: If you made in-app purchases, the transaction record is retained by the Apple App Store and Google Play under their own retention policies. These records are not under our control; you would need to contact the relevant store about them.
- Technical server logs: Server access records may appear in short-lived technical logs without being linked to your personal profile.
5. Tokens and Refunds
When the account is deleted, any unused tokens are cancelled and are not refunded. If you want to request a purchase refund, you should contact the store you bought from (Apple App Store or Google Play) before deleting your account.
6. Alternatives to Deletion
Instead of deleting your account entirely, you can also ask for specific data to be corrected or removed. For your full set of rights, see the Privacy Policy.
